Abstract
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) remains the leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide despite substantial advances in pharmacologic and interventional therapies. Modifiable lifestyle behaviors are major determinants of cardiovascular risk and essential targets for primary and secondary prevention.
