Abstract

Background and Objectives: Vitamin D deficiency is common in older adults with hip fracture and has been associated with adverse postoperative outcomes. However, heterogeneity in deficiency thresholds, outcome definitions, and patient populations has complicated the interpretation and clinical application of existing evidence.
