Abstract
Colorectal cancer remains a leading cause of cancer-related mortality despite a prolonged and preventable precancerous phase. This review examines how artificial intelligence and emerging biomarkers may narrow the persistent gap between detecting established cancer and identifying advanced precursor lesions.
