Crocin i
In human WI-38 cells, crocin I decreases lactate and reactive oxygen species and increases SIRT1; it also reduces senescence-associated beta-galactosidase in replicative and premature senescence and increases proliferation at 10–40 μM. The work comes from one lab, without independent replication or studies in humans.
