Abstract

The Primary Cell Model (MCP): Cellular Ontology as the Foundation of Consciousness Architecture What grounds a theoretical framework for consciousness, depression, and autism in something other than analogy? The Primary Cell Model (MCP/MTCC) provides a structural answer: every higher-level construct in the Katharós Theoretical Ecosystem (ETK) is a necessary derivation — not a metaphor — from four cellular directives operative for 3.5 billion years: SURVIVE, ADAPT, STORE, TRANSMIT. This report presents the full vertical integration of ETK across four levels: MCP (cellular ontology) → TVK/KVT (homeostatic mechanics) → satellite clinical documents (NP_Depression v4, TDSAF, RASP, PSW/FSSP) → ACPS v11d (integrative ODE architecture). Connection density between TVK constructs and MTCC mechanisms: 51.5% (34/66 possible links) — significantly exceeding the 15–25% typical of interdisciplinary integrations. Maximum node: Primary Neuroception (NP), connected to all 6 MTCC mechanisms. Core formal contributions in : ΔK ≡ Free Energy Principle: Homeostatic deviation ΔK is formally identified as homeostatic prediction error (F_hom), directly connecting ETK to Friston's Free Energy Principle (2010) — without redundancy. ETK adds the Katharós Reference Vector (KR) as a specific ontogenetic anchor absent from standard FEP formulations. Full molecular traceability: V_index(t) = M_receptor(t)/M_ref (MCP methylation ratio, verified in E. coli chemotaxis; Sourjik & Berg, PNAS 2002) → ΔK(t) ≡ F_hom(t). A continuous, unbroken line from bacterial chemotaxis (~3.5 Gya) to the Free Energy Principle — no conceptual gap. OXT→TET2→OXTR axis: t_KR molecularly operationalized as sustained oxytocin exposure driving active OXTR demethylation (genomic maintenance); chronic isolation drives the inverse cascade: OXTR hypermethylation → ROS-mediated TERT inhibition → senescence accumulation → SASP neuroinflammation (Maejima et al., 2025, Aging Cell). ASD–Depression–Alzheimer's continuum: Q(t) suppression via OXTR hypermethylation across three temporal windows — structural (perinatal, ASD), oscillating (post-attachment, depression), irreversible (senile, AD) — unified under the same molecular mechanism at different developmental timescales. PSW/FSSP v2.0 formalization: Six-layer prenatal synchronization window mathematized with Hill sigmoid per layer (S_max, t_h, n, w_k); bipartite architecture — binary negotiation gate Θ(S0,S1) vs. continuous construction Π(k=2..5)[w_k × S_k(t)]; Monte Carlo N=8,000, zero divergences; R²(Severity→NP) = 0.6327, R²(Severity→Q) = 0.6493; cross-species phylogenetic conservation confirmed (human, sheep, rat, guinea pig). Biophysical substrate of Qualia: K⁺/Na⁺ electrochemical gradient and K2P ionic channels (~3.8 Gya); transmembrane capacitance Cm ≈ 1 μF/cm² (electric field ~10⁷ V/m) as physical substrate of Qualia-substrate. Piezo1/2 mechanosensing (Nobel 2021) as biophysical basis of prenatal PSW S2. PCS as ontological necessity: Somatic Convergence (neuroception and neurochemistry are inseparable) is not an empirical observation — it is a logical consequence of MCP receptor-processor-effector architecture. Separation would be an ontological anomaly. Part of the Katharós Theoretical Ecosystem (ETK) — 12 Zenodo preprints, 9 Ethereum-anchored PoIs (Molecule Protocol), DeSci Publish DPID://1035.
