Background: Sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) confer cardiovascular and renal benefits [5–8], but their role in perioperative management remains incompletely defined. Methods: PubMed, Europe PMC, ClinicalTrials.gov, CNKI, Wanfang, and VIP were searched to August 18, 2026.
