Abstract

Deep learning-derived local brain age (LBA) provides a regional indicator of cortical aging, with higher values reflecting more senesced brain regions. Elucidating the genetic architecture of LBA can reveal mechanisms underlying individual differences in brain aging and susceptibility to neurodegeneration.
