Expert Evaluation of Deep Learning Approaches to White Matter Hyperintensity Segmentation in Older Adults
AAIC 2025 Abstract
Abstract
Background: White matter hyperintensities (WMHs) are critical markers of cerebrovascular health and neurodegenerative disease. Accurate and reproducible quantification of WMHs is essential for characterizing vascular contributions to aging, cognition, and Alzheimer disease and related dementias.
