Background: The central hallmark of Alzheimer's disease (AD) is progressive brain atrophy accompanied by amyloid and tau pathologies. Valiltramiprosate is an oral, small‐molecule inhibitor of amyloid oligomer formation in development as a disease‐modifying treatment for AD.
