Abstract

Background: Neuropsychiatric symptoms have been considered a risk factor or prodromal state of cognitive decline and further progression into dementia. The Mild Behavioral Impairment Checklist (MBI‐C) is a newly developed instrument for assessing the presence and severity of neuropsychiatric changes.
