Abstract
Background: Homozygous APOE‐ ɛ4 carriers have exhibited heightened white matter hyperintensity (WMH) burden based on severity ratings (Rojas et al., 2018). A higher high‐density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL‐c) to low‐density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL‐c) ratio is associated with less severe WMHs (Wei et al., 2023).
