Abstract

Background: Histopathological studies have identified Aβ and phosphorylated tau proteins in the post‐mortem retina of patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD). Retinal and choroidal alterations have been found in patients with posterior cortical atrophy (PCA) compared with healthy controls.
