Background: Vervets (Chlorocebus aethiops) are non‐human primates in which we previously demonstrated brain amyloid b (Ab) deposition and phosphorylated tau associations with reduced brain volume, glucose metabolism, and gait speed but lacking true neurofibrillary tangles (NFTs).
