Abstract

Backgroundand Purpose: Ischaemic stroke causes progressive functional deterioration and impaired activities of daily living (ADL), which compromises patients’ quality of life and imposes substantial familial and societal burdens. ADL preservation is therefore essential for stroke rehabilitation.
