Abstract
Background: Mazdutide, a dual glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucagon receptor agonist, has shown promising metabolic benefits in randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). However, its efficacy and safety have not been systematically synthesized.
