Abstract

Protein S-palmitoylation regulates protein localization, stability, and signaling and has emerging roles in bone-cell biology. We investigated whether genetically predicted expression of palmitoylation-related genes is associated with osteoporosis risk and explored circulating metabolites as candidate mediators.
