Abstract

Abstract Anthropometric, cardiometabolic, and renal traits—including height, adiposity, blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol, and kidney function—affect numerous noncommunicable and infectious diseases. These traits share some genetic, environmental and nutritional determinants while also having distinct causes.
