Abstract
Background: Climate change will increase the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events such as heatwaves, wildfires, hurricanes, and droughts. Few studies have evaluated the health impacts of drought exposure in low- and middle-income countries, which are most vulnerable to effects of climate change.
