Abstract
Background: Tau PET measures are inherently continuous and applying dichotomized thresholds introduces conceptual and analytical idiosyncrasies. Understanding the limitations in the transition from tau‐negative to tau‐positive classifications is crucial for the effective use of these thresholds.
