Abstract

Background: Neuroinflammation and systemic inflammation are increasingly studied in Alzheimer's disease (AD) pathogenesis. Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein‐1 (MCP‐1), a mediator of both processes, has demonstrated variable prognostic value depending on disease stage.
