Background: Evidence suggests menopause‐driven estradiol withdrawal increases vulnerability to AD pathogenesis in women. While studies have shown women and men accumulate global amyloid‐β (Aβ) at similar rates, the regional specificity of sex‐ and estradiol‐related Aβ has not been studied.
