Abstract
Background: Lower socioeconomic status (SES) is associated with increased risk of cognitive decline and dementia. However, due to measurement limitations that often oversimplify the multidimensional construct of SES, fundamental questions regarding the relationship between socioeconomic disadvantage and cognition remain.
