Background: The Aging and Cognitive Health Evaluation in Elders (ACHIEVE) randomized trial ( n = 977;ClinicalTrials.gov:NCT03243422) demonstrated that hearing intervention slowed 3‐year cognitive decline by 48% among a subgroup of participants.
