Background: The Cognitive Function Index (CFI) and the Modified Telephone Interview for Cognitive Status (TICS‐m) are widely used tools for cognitive screening in older adults. TICS‐m is an examiner‐administered, objective test, while the CFI is a self‐reported, subjective questionnaire.
