Abstract

Background: Adults with Down syndrome (DS) are at a substantially increased risk of Alzheimer's disease (AD), with earlier onset and greater vulnerability (Fortea et al., 2021). However, sensitive neuropsychological tools for detecting early AD in this population are lacking, limiting their inclusion in research trials.
