Abstract
Background: Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) orexin levels are higher in MCI and AD and associated with sleep deterioration, increasing risk of cognitive decline and Alzheimer's disease (AD) progression. Orexin‐A is a key sleep‐wake cycle regulator.
