Abstract

Background: Given their neuro‐protective and anti‐inflammatory actions, sex hormones are critical to understanding sex differences in Alzheimer's disease (AD). Conventionally, blood‐derived sex hormones have been examined in relation to AD‐related outcomes with inconsistent results.
