Abstract

Background: Most Post‐stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI) occurs shortly after stroke, which is called early‐onset PSCI. Some patients without early‐onset PSCI are at high risk of developing cognitive impairment months after stroke, which is called delayed‐onset PSCI.
