Background: Neutrophils play a role in Alzheimer's disease (AD) pathology and AD‐related dementias (AD/ADRD), and prior research has shown that the neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR), a marker of neutrophil‐mediated inflammation, is associated with the risk of future dementia.
