Associations of instrumental activities of daily living, falls, and depression with subjective cognitive decline

Study in peoplePopulations

Abstract

Background: Subjective cognitive decline (SCD) has been associated with challenges performing instrumental activities of daily living (IADL), such as managing finances, doing laundry, or taking medication. Such IADL impairments can contribute to an increased risk of falls and a higher likelihood of depression among older adults.
