Abstract

Fatigue is a common symptom of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and can be an early indicator of frailty. Physical activity (PA) can improve fatigue and frailty-related serum biomarkers: brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), vascular endothelial growth factor-A (VEGF A), and insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1).
