The Korean Working Group on Sarcopenia (KWGS) established guidelines for diagnosing sarcopenia, introducing the concept of functional sarcopenia. However, the effectiveness of exercise and nutrition interventions among sarcopenia and functional sarcopenia based on these guidelines remains unexplored.
