Abstract

Specific prosocial behaviors, including volunteering and caregiving, have been linked to better maintenance of cognitive health in older adults. However, limited epidemiologic work has examined the relationship between one’s cognitive-emotional orientation toward prosociality generally and these same health outcomes.
