Abstract
Background: Microglia function as brain‐resident innate immune cells that maintain brain health and play a critical role in resolving Alzheimer´s Disease (AD) pathology. TREM2 modulates microglia responses to neutralize misfolded proteins and ultimately restore neuronal function.
