Background: Subjective cognitive decline (SCD) is considered a preclinical stage of Alzheimer's disease (AD). Sleep dysfunction, including excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS), is a known risk factor for Alzheimer's disease (AD) that may also increase SCD.
