Background: People with Down syndrome (DS) have a significantly higher risk for Alzheimer's disease (AD) than the neurotypical (NT) population. Due to intellectual disability (ID) inherent in DS, detection of cognitive decline in DS‐associated AD (DS‐AD) requires specialized tools.
