Abstract

Background: Identifying populations with a rapid rate of cognitive decline is important for conducting effective clinical trials to slow down this rate of decline. This is important since healthy volunteers often have a shallower rate of cognitive decline and hence have little room for benefit resulting in underpowered clinical trials.
