Background: Allostatic load (AL), reflecting cumulative biological stress, may contribute to Alzheimer's Disease (AD) risk. Biomarkers of AL may change during progression of cognitively unimpaired (CU) individuals as they develop Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) or AD.
