Abstract

Background: Cannabidiol (CBD) has well‐described anti‐inflammatory and neuroprotective properties. Emerging preclinical research has explored the potential of this cannabinoid as a therapeutic agent to delay or prevent the onset of symptoms and pathophysiological features of neurodegenerative processes, such as Alzheimer's disease (AD).
