Abstract

Background: The BrainAge Gap estimates the discrepancy between predicted and chronological brain age based on neuroimaging. Calculating a Polygenic Risk Score (PRS) from a BrainAge Gap estimate quantifies the genetic predisposition to accelerated brain aging.
