Background: Pathway‐specific polygenic risk scores (pathway‐PRS) are a recently developed tool to measure genetic susceptibility to complex diseases along specific biological pathways. Positional strategies annotating risk variants to pathways may not capture genetic susceptibility in non‐coding regions.
