Abstract
Background: Late‐onset Alzheimer's disease ( LOAD ), the most common form of dementia, arises from complex genetic and environmental interactions. Preclinical models that simulate the slow progression and long prodromal phase of LOAD are critical for identifying early therapeutic targets.
