Abstract

Background: The Presenilin‐1 ( PSEN1 ) G206A mutation has been identified in Puerto Ricans (PRs) with Alzheimer disease (AD), as a founder effect in the African ancestral background. The G206A mutation exhibits large age‐of‐onset (AOO) variation (range 30‐90 years) between carriers.
