Abstract
Background: Bexarotene, an RXR‐specific agonist, has shown neuroprotective effects in Alzheimer's disease (AD) mouse models by improving cognition and increasing amyloid‐beta (Aβ) clearance. RXR activation regulates gene networks involved in neural development, neuroinflammation, and metabolism.
