Abstract

Background: Cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) is a common brain pathology associated with Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and cognitive decline. Iron is an essential micronutrient for brain health; elevated brain iron is associated with cognitive decline in our prior studies.
