MCP 伺服器

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any other MCP client to AgingResearch.News and ask about new aging research in your own words. The server answers at https://agingresearch.news/api/mcp over Streamable HTTP. Assistants that sign in, such as Claude and ChatGPT, connect your account: you sign in and choose what the assistant may do, and its lookups are your plan’s. Without an account, it answers a set number of lookups a day. Listing the tools is never counted.

Connect has step-by-step setup for every assistant, and a one-tap install where the app offers one.

With a key, the allowance is the API’s: each tool call is one request. Clients that send headers take your key as Authorization: Bearer arn_live_…. Apps whose connector form takes only an address and do not sign in use https://agingresearch.news/api/mcp/arn_live_…, with your key in place of arn_live_…: keep that address as secret as the key, and revoke the key in Settings if it leaks.

Claude Code

Terminal
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http arn https://agingresearch.news/api/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer $ARN_KEY"

ChatGPT

  1. Open Plugins in ChatGPT, choose + and then Add custom MCP server. If you don’t see it, turn on Developer mode first, under Settings, Apps, Advanced settings.
  2. Name it AgingResearch.News, paste the address and choose OAuth.
  3. Sign in when ChatGPT asks, and choose Allow. Then mention AgingResearch.News in a chat, or just ask.
MCP server URL
https://agingresearch.news/api/mcp

Claude

  1. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, and add a custom connector.
  2. Name it AgingResearch.News, paste the Connector URL below and choose Add.
  3. Sign in or join, and Claude can use it in any chat.
Connector URL
https://agingresearch.news/api/mcp

Cursor

Add the server to ~/.cursor/mcp.json, or to .cursor/mcp.json in a project:

mcp.json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "arn": {
      "url": "https://agingresearch.news/api/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer arn_live_…" }
    }
  }
}

VS Code

Add the server to .vscode/mcp.json; VS Code asks for the key once and keeps it:

mcp.json
{
  "servers": {
    "arn": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://agingresearch.news/api/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer ${input:arn-key}" }
    }
  },
  "inputs": [{ "type": "promptString", "id": "arn-key", "description": "AgingResearch.News API key", "password": true }]
}

Tools

Each tool is one endpoint of the API: its arguments are the endpoint’s parameters, with lists as arrays, and a page holds 10 results unless the call asks for up to 25 with limit. Its result is the endpoint’s JSON.

  • search_papers
    Use this to find the papers themselves: when the user asks which studies exist or what papers say on a subject in the biology of aging or an age-related disease, often without the word aging: senolytics, epigenetic clocks, partial reprogramming, mitochondria, NAD+, immune aging, ovarian aging and menopause, neurodegeneration, sarcopenia, long-lived species. Pass 2 to 4 key terms, not the question: "rapamycin lifespan humans", not "does rapamycin extend lifespan in humans". Searches the titles and abstracts of every paper AgingResearch.News has read, best match first, by default only papers about aging. Supports "quoted phrases", OR, -exclusions and the filters below. When the terms together find fewer than 3 papers, the results match all but one of them (relaxed: true). The record is not all of PubMed: no match does not mean no study exists. Not for personal medical advice, symptoms or product recommendations. Read one in full with get_paper. Arguments
  • list_papers
    Use this when the user asks what is new: the latest papers in a field, of a study type such as randomized trials, on a body system, or by one author (a name, or an author_id from get_paper). Newest first by the date AgingResearch.News added them, with search_papers' filters and an optional words filter. For the papers that best answer a question, use search_papers. Arguments
  • get_paper
    Use this when the user wants one paper in depth: what it did and found, in which species and how many subjects, its caveats, who wrote it and where they work. Takes a paper id such as MED-42823970 from another tool's results, or the paper's own DOI, PMID, PMCID, arXiv id or a link to it. Returns how it bears on aging, the language it was published in with its own-language title when that is not English, every author with ORCID iD and institutions, its full story (headline, body, why it matters, caveats) when published, the drugs, genes and processes it studies and its findings, and a link to the paper at its source. It does not replace the paper. Arguments
  • list_stories
    Use this when the user wants a readable round-up of recent findings: this week in aging research, the notable results in a field, a list for a journal club. AgingResearch.News's plain-language stories about new papers, newest first, each checked against its paper and given with it. For every paper on a question, use search_papers. Arguments
  • find_entities
    Use this to find the type and key of what a question names (a drug, supplement or diet, a gene or protein, a biological process, a disease, a biomarker, an organism, a method or a hallmark of aging) before get_entity, list_claims or list_grants. Matches part of a name, a key or a known synonym, case-insensitive: the most-studied entity the words name exactly first, then the rest most-studied first, MeSH headings last, with how many papers involve each. Pass a result's type and key to get_entity. Arguments
  • get_entity
    Use this for questions about one drug, supplement, gene, process or disease: is there human evidence, has it been replicated by independent labs, in which species, which trials test it and how many posted no results, who funds it and which companies are tied to it. Takes a type and key from find_entities (intervention rapamycin). Returns the entity and its papers, newest first, with its role in each; for an intervention, gene or process, `evidence` gives its evidence as structure, never a grade. Counts are of the papers AgingResearch.News has read, not all the literature. Not for personal medical advice or doses. Arguments
  • list_claims
    Use this when the user asks what has been found about a relation: does an intervention extend lifespan and in which organisms, what lowers a biomarker. Findings extracted from papers as subject, relation and object (rapamycin extends_lifespan in Mus musculus), with organism, effect size and the paper, newest first. Check one that matters with get_paper. Not for personal medical advice. Arguments
  • list_trials
    Use this when the user asks about clinical trials on aging or an age-related condition: what is recruiting, what changed lately, which trials test a drug, which companies run them. Trials that bear on human aging, newest registry update first, with phase, status, sponsor, size, conditions, interventions and the latest change. Read one with get_trial. Arguments
  • get_trial
    Use this when the user asks about one clinical trial by its registry number (NCT, ISRCTN, ChiCTR, CTRI, CTIS and others): its design, outcomes and dates, every change recorded and the papers that cite it. Show a WHO ICTRP record with its attribution and the day WHO processed it. Arguments
  • list_news
    Use this when the user asks about events in aging research and the longevity industry: financings and deals, trial readouts, approvals, policy, conferences. One story per event, newest first, with a link to every outlet that covered it. Not for general or market news. Arguments
  • list_grants
    Use this when the user asks who funds work on a target, drug, process or lab, how much and since when. Aging research grants from NIH, the EU (CORDIS), UKRI and Wellcome, newest award first: title, funder, holder, investigators, amount, period and a link to the record. For company financings use list_news. Arguments
  • list_conferences
    Use this when the user asks which meetings on aging research and age-related disease are coming up or were just held. The conference calendar, soonest first, then recent ones, each edition with its dates, place and abstracts held. Read one with get_conference. Arguments
  • get_conference
    Use this when the user asks about one meeting from list_conferences, or what was presented there: its organizer, site and editions; with `edition`, that edition's abstracts most worth reading, each with the paper it was later published as. An abstract is not a peer-reviewed paper. Arguments
  • list_assets
    Use this when the user asks which drugs or therapies are in development against a target, mechanism, hallmark of aging or age-related disease, who develops them and how far each has got. Drug and therapy programs, furthest stage first, with developers, partners, code names, modality, targets, mechanism, indications with stages and lifespan evidence. Read one with get_asset; count them with count_pipeline. Arguments
  • get_asset
    Use this when the user asks about one drug or therapy program by its name or a code name (UBX-1325, BMS-986278): developers and partners, targets, mechanism, modality, indications with stage and source, lifespan evidence, published research, designations (orphan, breakthrough, fast track, PRIME), patents and exclusivity, development status by country, the next catalyst (a PDUFA date, an advisory committee, a readout) and the newest events from filings and regulators. Arguments
  • count_pipeline
    Use this when the user asks how many drug and therapy programs there are, or how a field's pipeline splits. Counts programs by stage, modality, target, hallmark, indication, the developer's country or the developer, each group by stage. Takes list_assets' filters: by=target with indication=obesity counts the targets of obesity programs. Arguments

Assistant tools

Once you sign in, an assistant can use these, each with the permission named beside it. One with no permission named works signed out too.

  • follow
    arn.account
    Use this when the user asks to follow a drug, gene, process, disease or other entity on AgingResearch.News, so its new papers reach them in For you and the daily follow email. Takes a type and key from find_entities or get_entity.
  • unfollow
    arn.account
    Use this when the user asks to stop following an entity on AgingResearch.News. Takes a type and key from list_follows, find_entities or get_entity.
  • list_follows
    arn.account
    Use this when the user asks what they follow on AgingResearch.News: entities and saved searches, newest first, each with its page; an entity's id is the type:key unfollow takes.
  • list_questions
    arn.account
    Use this when the user asks about questions they asked AgingResearch.News (Ask) before: their recent conversations, newest first, each with its title and address.
  • open_arn
    Use this when the user asks to open AgingResearch.News or to see their feed, follows and recent questions in one place. Shows the newest stories (For you when the user is signed in, else Top), what they follow and their recent questions, with search.
  • ask_arn
    arn.ask
    Use this when the user wants a written, cited answer rather than a list of papers, to a research question on the biology of aging, longevity interventions, age-related disease, or the people and companies of the field (does rapamycin extend lifespan in people, who works on epigenetic clocks). For the papers themselves, use search_papers. Not for personal medical advice, doses or symptoms. Answers in about 350 words from AgingResearch.News's record of papers, trials, approvals, lifespan results, genetics, researchers and companies, with numbered sources, and says when that record is thin. Spends one of the user's Ask questions for the day. Pass conversation_id for a follow-up. If the answer is not ready in the call, read it with get_ask_answer.
  • start_ultradeep
    arn.ask
    Use this when the user asks for a full review of the evidence on a research question in aging or longevity, beyond a short answer. Not for personal medical advice, doses or symptoms. Writes over several minutes a review in five sections: the bottom line, the evidence by kind of study, contradictions and gaps, how far it has got toward patients, what would change the answer. Counts against the user's Ultradeep reviews. Returns at once with the conversation's address and a question_id for get_ask_answer.
  • get_ask_answer
    arn.ask
    Use this when ask_arn or start_ultradeep said an answer is still being written, or the user wants it again: the answer with its numbered sources once written, else where it stands. Waits up to 20 seconds for a short answer nearly done; an Ultradeep review takes several minutes.

GET/api/v1/entities/{type}/{key}

Get an entity and its papers

One entity with counts and the papers that involve it, newest first, each with the roles the entity plays in it. For an intervention, a gene or a process, evidence gives what our record shows as structure, never as a grade: the species its findings reach and whether independent labs found the same there, the labs and countries behind them, the findings against, its trials and those with no results posted, its funders and its company ties. A key that names another entity (a synonym such as sirolimus, or a key an entity had before it was merged) answers with that entity under its own key and api_url.

  • keypath · string
    Entity key within its type, URL-encoded. Required.
  • min_relevancenumber
    Lowest aging-relevance score for the papers listed. Default: no filter.

  • papersarray of EntityPaper
    Papers that involve the entity, newest first. Paginated.
  • unavailablearray of string
    The fields of this record that could not be read for this answer (the read failed or ran out of time): each is null or empty here for that reason, not because the record holds nothing, so ask again shortly. A null or empty field not named here is what the record holds. Empty when every field was read.

EvidenceSignature

What our record shows about an intervention, a gene or a process, as structure: the species its findings reach and whether independent labs found the same there, the labs and countries behind them, the findings against, its trials and those with no results posted, its funders and its company ties. Never a grade. Recomputed from stored rows every six hours.

限制與錯誤

Free

10requests to try

In all, from your account’s one key.

With every account.

Plus

100requests a day

60 a minute, shared by every key on your account.

Included with Plus.

Pro

10,000requests a day

300 a minute, shared by every key on your account.

Included with Pro.

Partner

50,000requests a day

600 a minute, for each key.

For products, companies and research groups, by agreement.

Past your plan’s allowance, Free’s 10 requests to try included, requests draw on credit you add in Settings › Billing. Most use very little; answers and reviews use more, by the work they take. Each answer credit paid for carries X-ARN-Credit: on; with no credit to pay, the refusal’s top_up_url links straight to adding it.

計算區間以 UTC 的分鐘與日為單位。每個回應都會列出目前用量:

  • X-RateLimit-LimitRequests allowed per UTC day.
  • X-RateLimit-RemainingRequests left today.
  • X-RateLimit-ResetWhen the daily allowance resets, Unix seconds.
  • X-RateLimit-UsedRequests made today, this one included.
  • X-RateLimit-Minute-LimitRequests allowed per minute.
  • X-RateLimit-Minute-RemainingRequests left this minute.
  • X-RateLimit-Minute-ResetWhen the minute window resets, Unix seconds.
  • X-ARN-Credit`on` when the account's credit paid for this request, past the plan's allowance (Free's requests in all, or a day's): requests go on while it does, though X-RateLimit-Remaining is 0. Absent otherwise.
  • Retry-AfterOn a 429: seconds to wait before retrying.

回應可在私有快取中保留 60 秒。所有錯誤皆採用相同格式 { "error": { "status", "code", "message" } }:

  • 400invalid_parameterA parameter is missing, malformed, out of range or unknown, or the cursor is invalid.
  • 401missing_keyNo Authorization: Bearer header.
  • 401invalid_keyThe key is malformed or does not exist.
  • 401revoked_keyThe key was revoked.
  • 403plan_requiredThe account's free requests to try are used up and its credit does not pay (beside error: plan, ended_at, and top_up_url or upgrade_url), or the endpoint needs Pro, as the asset endpoints do.
  • 404not_foundNo such paper, entity, trial, conference, edition or path.
  • 429rate_limitedOver the minute or daily allowance. Wait Retry-After seconds. Past the daily allowance, beside error: top_up_url, where credit is added to go on, or upgrade_url, the plan with more.
  • 503unavailableThe service is temporarily unavailable. Retry with backoff.
  • 503timeoutThe answer was not ready within the request's time limit. Retry after Retry-After seconds.
  • 500internal_errorOur fault. Quote the X-Request-Id header if you contact us.

每天需要發出超過 100 次請求?

Atlas API

Atlas has an API of its own for your team’s code: the companies, people, sourced facts, deals, signals, evidence and scores behind its lists and profiles, beside every tool of the data API. It comes with an Enterprise seat. Talk to us about seats for your team.

  1. 1.Make a key in Atlas › Settings › Developers. It starts with arn_atlas_, works only in your organization’s Atlas and stops when its maker’s seat ends. Each seat can have up to 5 keys. A reader’s key does not open Atlas, and an Atlas key does not open /api/v1.
  2. 2.List the tools with GET /api/atlas/v1/tools: each comes with its arguments as JSON Schema.
  3. 3.Run one with POST /api/atlas/v1/tools/<name> and its arguments as a JSON object. The answer is the tool’s JSON.
List the tools

curl -s -X POST https://agingresearch.news/api/atlas/v1/tools/list_deals \

Each member has the allowance your organization’s agreement sets, shared by all their keys and connected apps: by default 60 calls a minute and 3,000 a UTC day. A tool call’s answer carries X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining, X-RateLimit-Used, X-RateLimit-Reset, X-RateLimit-Minute-Limit and X-RateLimit-Minute-Remaining, and a call past a limit gets 429 with Retry-After. The tool list shows the allowance and today’s use in allowance, and is never counted; a refused key or a body that is not JSON carries no headers.

The data tools page as /api/v1 does: send pagination.next_cursor back as cursor until has_more is false. Atlas’s research tools that list take a limit instead, and say how many rows match in total where they count them.

The same tools answer over MCP at https://agingresearch.news/api/atlas/mcp. Claude and ChatGPT connect by signing in with your seat; Claude Code, Cursor and other clients send the key as Authorization: Bearer arn_atlas_….

Errors

Every error answers { "error", "message" }. Retry any other 5xx, or an answer that is not JSON, with a backoff. A research tool that has nothing to give answers 200 with an error or a note of its own, such as found: false for a name it does not hold: check for them.

  • 400 invalid_request
    The arguments are invalid (the message names the field and what it takes), or a data tool could not answer just now (the message says so). Read it before you retry.
  • 401 unauthorized
    No key, or one that was revoked.
  • 403 forbidden
    A reader's API key, or a key whose maker's seat has ended.
  • 404 not_found
    No tool of that name in your organization’s Atlas.
  • 429 rate_limited
    Past the minute's or the day's limit: wait for Retry-After.
  • 502 upstream_failed
    The tool failed, or ran past 25 seconds: retry with a backoff, or narrow the arguments.

Research tools

Besides these, the API runs every tool of the data API’s MCP server, with the same arguments. The tools you see depend on your organization’s Atlas.

  • get_coverage
    What AgingResearch.News's records hold and do not hold, as exact numbers: papers by era (the dated record, and the earlier selection), their sources, findings, grants by source, trials and lifespan results, then what is not covered. Call it for any question about scope, coverage, sources or how much data there is, before answering.
    Arguments

    No arguments.

  • count_records
    Exact counts from AgingResearch.News's records, for any "how many" question: never estimate a count, call this. kind papers: searchable papers (as Search counts them), filtered by the entities each is about (type/key from find_entities, such as phenotype/lifespan or intervention/rapamycin; all must hold), an organism group, a study type, words of the title or abstract, a span of years and a band; with an entity, also the findings those papers report on it. kind grants: research grants (one per project), by source, funder name, an entity the title names, title words and award years. kind trials: registered trials of an intervention (or all), by phase, with how many are about aging. Each answer says what it counted: give the number with those words.

  • check_coverage
    Checks a list of up to 100 companies, assets or targets against AgingResearch.News's graph, for a question such as "how many of these do you cover" or "what do you hold on these companies": for each name, whether it matched a record and how (an identifier, its exact name, an alias), which key fields of its kind the record holds (a company's registry identifier, country, website, founding date, people, programs, funding rounds, deals, sponsored trials and papers; an asset's identifier, developer, modality, targets, mechanism, indications, development status, aging relevance, trials and literature; a target's identifiers, human genetics, tractability, safety, programs and papers), its papers, trials, facts and signals, when each source last captured it, and since when it is held. Then the matched share, the names not held and each field's completeness. Give ids where the list has them; a name is never matched by similarity alone (closest names are offered apart).

  • sweep
    The widest read of AgingResearch.News's own record for one purpose: up to 2,000 papers, conference abstracts, trials, news, grants, deals and rounds, and drug and therapy programs in a window, each judged for relevance to the purpose, the relevant ones returned with a one-line digest from what was extracted (a paper's design, organisms, n, main finding with its effect size, and significance; a trial's phase, status and dates; a deal's parties, money and day). Use it first for a brief, a landscape or any question that needs many items, then open only the few items you cite in detail (get_paper, get_trial, get_asset). purpose is what you are writing, in a sentence; query the words to search by (the purpose's when absent); entities the entities to follow by their links; the window defaults to the last 12 months. Each item's relevance is 0 to 3 (3 central); null means it could not be judged. A grant or deal also gives its money as data (money: its amount, upfront, milestones, total and equity, each { amount, currency, display } with the stated ISO 4217 code or null, never converted; null when no sum is stated). considered counts every candidate read, kinds each kind's counts.
    Arguments
    ArgumentTypeMeaning
    purposerequiredstringWhat the answer or report is for, in a sentence: 'A brief on senolytics in 2026 for an investor'.
    querystringThe words to search by, when not the purpose's: 'senolytic senolytics'.

    limitinteger, 1–200Items returned, the relevant first. Default 60.
  • get_dossier
    ARN's prepared dossier on a subject (an intervention, an intervention class or a topic), from its stored record, every item with the address to cite it by: randomized trials in people with n and what they found; the NIA ITP's mouse lifespan arms by sex and DrugAge's best result; registered trials by status (recruiting, active, completed with or without results, terminated) with phase, sponsor and dates; dated readouts and stage moves, and readouts due; findings that state a dose, and safety findings; the stage toward patients, approvals, developers and programs, and the latest events; the most significant papers and the findings against the majority; funding rounds and the most active labs. Each list says how many ARN holds and how many it left out. Call it first for a subject it holds; then use the other tools for what it leaves out. Give it the window you gave sweep (since, until): its lists then keep to the window, and older landmark items come apart as background, to cite only as background with their year. Asked for a subject it does not hold, it lists the ones it does.
    Arguments
    ArgumentTypeMeaning
    subjectrequiredstringThe subject's name or key, such as rapamycin, senolytics, D+Q, NMN, GLP-1 receptor agonists or epigenetic clocks.
    sincestringThe window's first day, YYYY-MM-DD, as you gave sweep: the lists keep to it, and older landmark items come apart as background.
    untilstringThe window's last day, YYYY-MM-DD; today when absent.
  • get_evidence
    The evidence AgingResearch.News holds on an intervention, target (a gene or a process), asset or company (its assets'), as structure: how far it reached from cells to invertebrates, mice and people, and whether each rung is one lab's or replicated by independent labs; the findings, independent labs and countries behind it; what goes against it; trials registered, completed and completed without results; who funds the work and how much comes from authors with company ties. With map, the map of its findings by rung and lab. Report it as structure, never as a grade.
    Arguments
    ArgumentTypeMeaning
    typerequiredintervention | target | asset | company
    keyrequiredstringThe entity's key, as find_entities, list_assets or another tool gives it.
    mapbooleanAlso return the evidence map: its findings as nodes by rung and lab, and the links between them. Default false.
  • get_facts

Each fact gives its source address to cite, and its provenance: its stable id, the record it cites (citation: paper, trial, news item or address), the capture method that wrote it and when it was observed. Facts pointing at the entity (a company's investors, a target's assets) come too. By default the newest of each kind; with all, every fact a page at a time, newest first, nextCursor bringing the next.

Each signal has its day, the address of its record, its stable key (the same signal keeps it from read to read) and what it stood on (facts, their ids as get_facts gives them, and refs, the trials, papers and news items). A financing, deal or grant also gives its money as data (moneyTerms: its amount, upfront, milestones, total and equity, each { amount, currency, display } with the stated ISO 4217 code or null, never converted; null when no sum is stated or for other kinds). nextCursor (null on the last page) brings the next page with the same arguments.
    Arguments
    ArgumentTypeMeaning

  • pivot
    Follow typed links from a set to the set it links to, step by step, with counts, a time window and the reason for each link: Atlas's Linked chains. Start from Atlas keys of one type (start_keys, as list_atlas or the profiles give them) or from words (start_words: every asset, company, intervention, target, disease, person or trial whose name, and for an asset its mechanism, targets or hallmarks, matches; use | between alternatives, such as "senolytic | senescen"). Then up to 6 steps, each a hop id that starts at the type the step before ended on; each step may set from and to (YYYY-MM-DD; dated links in the window, state links such as works_at held during it), current (state links still held), sector (industry or academic, for organizations), min_links, as_of (YYYY-MM-DD: the graph as it stood that day, state links held then, dated links on or before it) and where (filters on the set the step reaches: stage, modality and partner for assets, where partner is yes, no (a partnership ended) or unknown (none on record; never read it as unpartnered); runway_under_months for organizations, and for assets their developers; rung for interventions, targets, assets and organizations, the evidence ladder's species with findings, replicated for two independent labs there). Returns each step's count, the 15 most linked items of the last step with why each is linked and its address (a grant, round or deal also with its money as data, money: each part { amount, currency, display } with the stated ISO 4217 code or null, never converted), every next hop with its count, and the Linked page that shows the chain. • get_trial_outlook
    A trial's Trial Outlook as Atlas shows it: how often similar phase 1 and 2 trials since 2010 had a next-phase trial of the same drug for the same condition registered within five years, the backtested chance with its reasons, and whether the backtest lets it be called a probability. It measures going on to the next phase, not success. Also the trial's asset, phase, status and readout.
    Arguments
    ArgumentTypeMeaning
    idrequiredstringThe registry id, such as NCT05000000.
  • get_target_columns
    A target's Aging Target Score as Atlas shows it, its columns side by side and never one number: human genetics (Open Targets' strongest association with an age-related disease or aging trait), the evidence (where independent labs replicated findings: cells, worms or flies, mice, people), clinical reach (assets, those in the clinic, developers, the furthest stage) and literature momentum against the field.
    Arguments
    ArgumentTypeMeaning
    targetrequiredstringA gene symbol or a process, such as NLRP3 or cellular senescence.
  • find_experts
    The scientists who have done the work on a topic, from their matching publications over the years: name, institution, how many of their works match and how many they led, the years they span, ORCID iD and their AgingResearch.News page. Fame never ranks anyone; people with a misconduct record are left out.
    Arguments
    ArgumentTypeMeaning
    topicrequiredstringThe topic, such as partial reprogramming or NLRP3 inflammasome.
    limitinteger, 1–25Default 12.
  • get_lifespan
    Lifespan results for an intervention (a drug, supplement or compound): DrugAge's best average lifespan change and its significant results by species (worms, flies, mice and others), and the NIA Interventions Testing Program's mouse arms, each with its cohort, dose, starting age, the change in median lifespan by sex and its p-value. Pass an intervention's key or any of its names: each name of one compound gives the same results, with arms of combinations that include it marked combination. A combination's key or name (acarbose+rapamycin, or rapamycin + acarbose) gives its own results. Results marked partial name matched only part of a compound's name, because nothing in that source matched exactly; they may be other compounds and are not counted.
    Arguments
    ArgumentTypeMeaning
    interventionrequiredstringAn intervention's key or name, such as rapamycin (or sirolimus) or 17alpha-estradiol.
  • query_measurements
    The numbers Atlas holds, one arm of a study a row: what was given (an intervention, gene or asset), what was measured (a phenotype such as phenotype/lifespan, or a biomarker), the measure (median, mean or maximum lifespan, a hazard ratio for death, an odds ratio, a mean difference, a biomarker's change…), the change with its interval and p, and the arm (organism, strain, sex, starting age, dose, cohort), with the sentence or published result it was read from. count is the exact number that match: give it as the count, never the length of the rows. By default only measurements whose method passed its check against a gold set (today the NIA Interventions Testing Program's published mouse results); unchecked names the other methods and how many each holds. Pass include_unchecked only to look at those, and call any you cite unchecked.
    Arguments
    ArgumentTypeMeaning
    subjectstringWhat was given or varied, as type/key (intervention, gene or asset).
    outcomestringWhat was measured, as type/key (phenotype or biomarker).
    measurearray of median_lifespan | mean_lifespan | average_lifespan | max_lifespan | survival_hr | logrank_p | biomarker_level | biomarker_change | event_rate | odds_ratio | mean_difference | auc | pk
