Cardiovascular Outcomes in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes and Heart Failure with Reduced Ejection using Glucagon-like Peptide-1 Receptor Agonists
medRxiv
Abstract
BackgroundGlucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP1-RA) improve cardiovascular outcomes in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) and obesity, and more recently they have been shown to be beneficial in patients with obesity and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction.
- GLP-1 receptor agonists

- GLP-1 and incretin signalling
- Type 2 diabetes
- Heart failure with reduced ejection fraction
