Background: Existing copathologies, such as Lewy body (LB) disease, can introduce heterogeneity to AD pathogenesis and presentation of symptoms and likely influence disease progression. A seed amplification assay (SAA) that detects aggregated, misfolded α‐synuclein (α‐syn) can detect LB.
