Abstract
Background: Resting‐state EEG (rsEEG) alterations in the posterior alpha rhythm are promising biomarkers of neurodegenerative diseases (NDDs). However, spectral analysis often overlooks the rsEEG non‐rhythmic (aperiodic) component. Studies assessing the oscillatory and aperiodic activity are scarce and frequently underpowered.
