Abstract

Background: Neuropsychiatric disorders are linked to changes in brain composition, such as cortical neuron loss in late‐onset Alzheimer's disease (AD). GABAergic cell types have been implicated in dysregulated neural interactions, contributing to pronounced neurodegeneration.
